Welcome to the "Fighting Fox Company" Re-enactors websiteThe "Fighting Fox" Company is a group of Mid-Atlantic based re-enactors who portray members of Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division of WWII. Easy Company of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment has become one of the most famous small units in U.S. history, thanks to Stephen Ambrose's superb book entitled "Band of Brothers", followed by its portrayal in the film series of he same name. However, until recently, little had been heard of Fox Company of that same regiment, the men who fought alongside Easy Company throughout every step of the war in Europe and who had their own stories to tell. This is our focus as re-enactors in this group. From enlistment, D-Day, to the Eagles Nest and beyond. We will ever strive to keep the memories alive of the individuals who served our country during the most threatening time in recent modern world history. Without such men as these the world might be a very different place today. Their selfless cause to destroy tyranny and restore freedom by true grit and self determination. The fallen will never be forgotten: The veterans will ever be honored. |
